Kansas City Art Gallery

One of the best art galleries I’ve been to. Let’s face it - its mostly because of the the giant shuttlecocks on the lawns within the gallery grounds. Awesome look against the more refined, classic main building; talk about Art making heads turn! Apparently there was a lot of controversy over these sculptures but I think they are fabulous. I would go back just to sit on the stairs facing the gardens and pee myself laughing. I love it!!!!!!

The final photo is an awesome quote engraved onto the wall:

ART DEALS WITH THINGS FOREVER INCAPABLE OF DEFINITION AND THAT BELONG TO LOVE BEAUTY JOY AND WORSHIP THE SHAPES POWERS AND GLORY OF WHICH ARE EVER BUILDING UNBUILDING AND REBUILDING IN EACH MAN’S SOUL AND IN THE SOULD OF THE WHOLE WORLD.
